Hilda Kate Bates b1890 Crayford, Kent d1959 NSW

The above was my 2nd cousin, twice removed. She married James Mountain in 1916 at Lewisham, London; I'm not sure whether he died (can find no record for it) but Hilda emigrated to Canada in 1928/29 and married William A Bates 15 May 1929 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, they had a son there apparently (can find no record).
Between 1929 and 1959 they again emigrated but this time to NSW Australia.
Hilda died 21 Jun 1959 at Mount Victoria in the Blue Mountains, I'm told but no headstone can be found in the local cemetery. I don't know when William died.
Help please.

Yes keyboard it's very strange, divorces weren't easy in those days either.

Hi again, just managed to view original, her address looks to be 37, Frithwood Avenue, Norwood in the UK, a search of electoral rolls for that area may give clues possibly?

I don't understand why you say that. What makes you think her first husband was still alive?
 In those days, a widow usually kept her deceased husband's name until the next marriage, which the OP says was not until 15 MAY 1929.  How long did it take to sail & (presumably) rail from UK to Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada?

NSW death index .. IF the informant knew, Hilda's marriages, kids names etc should be noted on the death cert.

Their was also another possible voyage:-

Mrs Hilda K Bates aged 62 occ Housekeeper 22nd January 1953 London to Sydney on SS Esperance Bay?
This lady had serious money, or just worked at her address in UK it was Flat 114, Chiltern Court, Baker Street, London. Very posh! same address as 1952 voyage, c/o a Mrs Newman possibly?
