Hudson family, who & why?

In 1911 Mary Hudson, 35 married 9 years born Rehampton with her children Walter George Hudson 8 born Pimlico, John Frederick Robert Hudson 6 born Pimlico, Margaret Mary Hudson 5 born Battersea and Grace Dorothy Hudson 4 born Pimlico are staying / visiting my GtGrandparents & family in Swindon. This is just after a young son of my gtgrandparents had been killed in a fire accident at home. Also, of note, my grandfather was born in Battersea but the only one of the family to be born there. I wonder if anyone knows anything of this family [Hudson] and what connection they could have had to my family, which by the way is ; Wilson.                                                                                                                                                Also my gtgtgrandmother was born in London

In 1927/1932 Mary Hudson is living with her husband John Walter Hudson and son John Frederick Robert at
45 Culvert Road, Battersea.

Still looking to see if there is a connection............

Possible marriage, which doesn't really help, unless the name Woodward fits into your tree.

Looks as if that is the correct Mary as in 1901 she is a servant in a public house

Hi I think John Walter Hudson was the one born Westminster and aged 29 occ Bath Attendant in 1901, later he looks to be a Swimming Instructor or similar?

I would think that any connection, if any, would be through your great great grandmother if she was born in London. I wonder why your grandfather was born in Battersea, that might be the clue? Perhaps they were just family friends and she was visiting to pay her condolences.
