View from the crow's nest 1945
« on: Sunday 14 December 14 18:50 GMT (UK) »
Here's the Agassiz again...the bow crashing into a huge green sea somewhere in the North Atlantic in January 1945. My dad took this from the crow's nest overlooking the fo'c'sle. That's salty-tar-speak for the upper deck in front of the mast :) Wonderful bit of history.

If someone could just give it a bit of clean and perhaps brighten the contrast a little?

Of course, anyone may have a bit of a play with it, colour etc ;)

Many thanks,

Ohh cracking, Caz, much sharper. Very nice! Thank you so much, this will go well with the collection of dad's pics.

Hard to imagine what life would have been like on board, isn't it. Tiny little ship in such a vast ocean.

Thanks again Cazza :)

Very clean, looks lovely! Thank you, turnips ;D

BTW, I am related to turnips too....Solomon King, jailed for stealing turnip tops in 1856 ;D

Just curious, but was that photograph taken during a "neep" tide?
