 Hi,

The incoming passenger list for PM and "squiggle" Slatcher show that the squiggle is really an M.  Again, the ages are in the male column.  I only attach this because the second child is M and because the destination is Toronto.  Is it possible that the gender of the children was recorded incorrectly?   ???

Just adding there was a birth of a Frances Slatcher in March Quarter 1905 Belper district ( where Minnie's was in 1907) and a death for him in same quarter
Kate is the only one in Knighton, but in Cleobury Mortimer where Phoebe May is registered there is also:

Victoria Pattie Slatcher birth registered March quarter 1901  (vol. 6a  p.573)
Just found that she belonged to Ernest & Martha, just married there...so next lad probably   theirs as well...you'd need to check 1911

James Henry Slatcher birth registered March quarter 1910 (vol. 6a  p.520)
Death Sept. quarter 1917 has a John H Slatcher     (vol. 6a  p.520) but says age 4 not 7

I wonder if Minnie was in the charge of a family surname Robinson as smaller children were often called adopted although they had not been legally so...

Thank you - I thought about Frances as well.

James Henry Slatcher seems to belong to Ernest and Martha too according to the 1911
