Hi shebalee
Just to clarify further for you.
... you said the TRENDALL man you were seeking (Albert Edward), had a wife named "Annie Caroline".
So the marriage record given here earlier, is for Edward Albert TRENDALL to Annie Caroline VERRALL - year, 1905 [As appears on NZ BDM (online) and NZSG Marriages index resource. ]
The 1905 marriage notice in an Auckland newspaper > see reply # 15 > Edward Albert TRENDALL to Annie Hyder VERRALL is for the same bride and groom.
["Hyder" name : NZ Birth: 1870 - VERRALL - Annie Caroline - Parents: Margaret Caroline McGregor VERRALL and Alfred VERRALL. In 1872 there is a birth of an Alfred John Hyder VERRALL to parents named as Margaret and Alfred VERRALL. "Hyder" would therefore seem to be a family name ? ]
NZ Electoral

TRENDALL - Edward Albert - Jervois* Road - occ: Printer
In 1911 (Grey Lynn) roll - Edward Albert TRENDALL, Printer, is at MacKelvie Street ... Annie Caroline TRENDALL is at same address.
Note: *Jervois Road is the address given of the property being sold in 1910 by Mrs TRENDALL and family.
Obviously this man may have been known by his second name of "Albert", but for most purposes in the NZ records, he is shown as "Edward Albert".
