Thomas Gair 1812 - 1846

My ancestor Hannah Gair was born in Cumberland in 1840. Her parents were Agnes Atkinson and Thomas Gair. Thomas was born in 1812 and died 1846.

I cannot seem to find his parents, nor a reason for his early death, despite looking in the registers.

any help in locating his parents and cause of death will be appreciated

"Lately, after a severe illness, Mr Thomas Gale of the Wellington Inn, Gosforth aged 44 years.  The deceased was a highly respectable man, and many years a dancing-master in that neighbourhood"
