My grandfathers first wife was Elizabeth Quee from Hill Street in Holywood. Her father was Robert Quee, a labourer.

Hi Quee15 and Mandy,

Neither of you have put any dates in your messages which makes things difficult to have a look through directories for Quees. The Ulster Covenant of 1912 was signed by ten people named Quee ... three of
them came from Holywood.

I've linked this thread to your  Quee of Co. Down thread, Quee15. There are several people named Quee on the Ros Davies' Co. Down, Ireland Genealogy Research Site.

Thanks for your reply Quee15.

It's a pity you did not give me an idea of the time your Quees lived or where they lived. I'm having to guess. I'm in the Central Library in Royal Avenue, Belfast with a good collection of Directories of Belfast and Ulster a few feet from me.

1913 Quee. Belfast

John still at 338 Lisburn Road
Jos. C., still at 89, Woodstock Road

1913 Quee. Holywood
