Hiya Kitman,

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin.

Here is an image of the properties. http://goo.gl/maps/FyIgA

They appear to be private dwellings, with well cut grass outside, and a lovely view of the hill in the background.

Here's a page:

http://www.housingcare.org/housing-care/facility-info-1403-ffordd-dulyn-llandudno-wales.aspx

They are described on that as Retirement/sheltered housing. Thirty seven induvidual flats.

Here is the organisation that looks that area: http://www.cartreficonwy.org/

It  used to  be !     it was  Gwynedd for   quite  a while too , then  a  few  years back  they  decide to   put  in a new  county  called Conwy

Main article: Conwy County Borough Council

The county borough was formed on 1 April 1996 by merging the districts of Aberconwy and Colwyn when it was originally named Aberconwy and Colwyn. However, its council renamed the district a day later, on 2 April 1996 to Conwy.

Llandudno  Conway or Conwy is in Caernarvonshire.

We use counties as in 1851-1901 here on RootsChat, just for that very reason.  :) Who'd have thought that counties would move around and be renamed like boats.

(Sorry Kitman, it's not your original question).
