Just thinking about the a/try tree http://trees.ancestry.co.uk/tree/47398349/person/6761899828?ssrc= (just one, think I said trees, but just one). Wondering how they have arrived at both fathers and mothers' names from an Irish marriage cert?

I have parents names from records I have Elizabeth's death cert from Australia , they are far more detailed than ours and also from Elizabeth's baptism cert , the tree you found is a person I am already In touch with, he is related by marriage to one of my stems  and I have been in touch, he was very helpful.

Great that you have that info for sure. I do think she is Irish by birth (likely also Joseph was too...how were his parents' names arrived at I wonder?).

Some of the Australian BMD detail, like the Scottish certs...is just brilliant in detail 

Have you ever tried to follow up on the David Flemming showing in 1881 in the household as a possible brother to Elizabeth?

PS: The type of death details you are looking for re Joseph between 1891-1901 are just so tricky

Re David yes I did follow it up, but not much luck, have a similar name on passenger list going to America but nothing else....
