To be sold on Monday, Inn known as Cornish Mount now in occupation of Henry Semmens. Tenement is held for 99 years determinable on the deaths of John Pool aged about 68, Mary Semmens aged 42, and Elizabeth Curry aged 27 daughter of John Ward .

Henry Semmons inkeeper at Crowen states that he was on the jury at the Coroners inquest on the body of Phillipa Holman, her husband James Holman was accused of murder
He was sentenced to be `hanged by the neck till your body shall be dead , then your body shall be buried in the precincts of this prison.`
It states that the judge showed great emotion, and burst into tears. .
