There is a post here that states Braidwood and Lilly were 2 of 4 Higgins siblings,the names of the others unknown

Could this be a possible connection?

There was a Mary Graham Braidwood Higgins a spinster in the  1949 E/R for Franklin and 1954 E/R  Otahuhu, and showing as Mary Graham B Higgins in 1957, Karori, Wellington.

florence was born in manchester england 1861(birth cert. of 3rd.son vivian)
1st son named braidwood, 2nd son lorne

Braidwood born usa 1865
 so maybe florence is the elusive sibling others looking to identify.
 
both their parents being henry and elizabeth higgins!

florence henrietta catherine higgins married edwin claude bolton1878 auckland
lived in gisborne
he being a headmaster for 16 years at makauri school
They had 3 sons namely braidwood seymour, 1880 lorne massey1882 ,  vivian stuart 1885.Bolton
 florence died in 1943 aged 82. buried taruheru cemetery.
edwin died 1927 buried  same plot
their marriage cert. gives henry higgins in the presence of......
son vivian's birth lists florence nee higgins  birth-place as manchester...... thats  as far i have got

Elizabeth’s parents Richard Armfield, button merchant (d. Lambeth, 17 April 1845) and Elizabeth Braidwood (baptised Hackney, 25 July 1788).

Elizabeth Braidwood’s mother Isabella Braidwood (d. Edgbaston, 1 Aug 1819) and her husband and first cousin John Braidwood (d. Hackney, 24 Sept 1798) ran a deaf school in Hackney.

Isabella Braidwood’s father, Thomas Braidwood (d. Hackney, 24 October 1806), opened a school for deaf children in Edinburgh.
