Yes and thank you Trystan. Nem may be the Ne--- referenced in the torn photo from the other thread. It's not alot to go on but at least it is a start. Thanks again, Trystan

Hi Rachel,

I'm not great at handwriting - I only interepereted it as "Nem" - but the rest of the translation is fine. I imagine he's the chap on the left. He looks quite a jolly character, it would be great to learn more about them!

By the way - just out of interest - in previous photos there were extra dots ('periods' . ) between words, and there an apostrophe (') missing off this one [i'n gweld] and extra capitalisation [ Cawsom ]. If there is any chance that the messages on the back were sent during wartime then they may have been slightly coded. It's probably not significant.
