st matthews walsall 1805 marriage lookup

Hi everyone looking, I just wanted to ask if any one has access to st Matthews marriages or is going to record office and can lookup a marriage for me please.

The date is 24 june 1805 and the two marrying were Elijah Stokes and Sarah Edwards, ive got the marriage on familysearch but id like to know who the witnesses were and if they was born widowers or not, I would greatly appreciate this, thankyou

Hiya, I'm pretty sure FREECEN has just added a lot more for st Matthews, Walsall. I was on it the other day looking for some of my Walsall lot and I'm sure they put te witnesses too x

Hi thanks for the response ive had a look on free reg and its not on there, theres also another marriage I wanted for st Matthews in 1819 also not on there, does anyone know when find my past are adding phase 2 of the parish records? as I believe st Matthews will be on there?

Their next phase won't be till at least early 2015 i believe but not sure what ones though.

I've been to Lichfield Record Office today, and looked at the entry:

Elijah Stokes of this parish, bachelor and Sarah Edwards of the same, Spinster were married on 24 June 1805.  Elijah signed, but Sarah made her mark.  Witnesses:  John Smith and Job Danke, or Job Danks who also made his mark.
