William David SALMON censuses 1891 & 1901 Tooting or Epsom

Can someone help me find William David SALMON in either the 1891 and/or 1901 censuses please?

I have his birth entry Dec qtr 1883 in Wandsworth RD.  I have his marriage to Daisy LEETE in Q1 1906 Epsom RD but could have taken place in late Dec 1905.  I have him in the 1911 census with their daughter, Daisy May.

I cannot find him in either census between his birth and 1911.  I've tried Ancestry and FindMyPast (search only) without success.  I've tried variations of William.  I've tried David.  I've tried variations of SALMON/S all with no joy.  I've tried FamilySearch.  Nada

I know there are magicians and supersleuths on here.  Can anyone use their skills and find William David  please?

There is a British Army Service Record for a William D SALMON born Tooting Surrey aged 18 yrs 8mths who joined the East Surrey Regiment in1900. Record shows that he served in Lucknow India. He was discharged in 1903 Medically unfit for duty. Unmarried, he gave his father and brother as Next of Kin...

Father = Edward SALMON 8 Addas Terrace Tooting London and George SALMON 5 Brandon Road Sutton London.
