I need help deciphering the witnesses names on the parish birth entry. It is the entry in the middle for James, parents William Nolan and Margt Burke. The witnesses names are in the last column.

I think there could be a possibility the "S" is a styalised "A"  and the name I see is "John Amit", which is an unusual surname, but does exist.
