Yes thanks James...obvious now....but does that read as Liverpool Coroner Bootle Hospital as one together with the person below. I wonder why no address was listed ?
Thanks again,  Chris

Perhaps that is the case but the rest of the document should give a better "picture"
Maybe it is just a list of persons who died in Bootle and the Coroner has given cause of death.
Address would be on death cert.

James

This a bit more of the doc. it is from the Liverpool, England, Catholic Burials, , I still don't understand why no address was listed, but as you say ill just have to get the death cert to be sure.
This will be the 3rd death cert ive got for  Michael Henry, hes proving to be rather elusive.
I wish records offices would check the spouses names given rather than send out obvious wrong certificates, most are very helpful and will return chqs if names don't correspond, some are not, LOL
Thanks again James

If the Coroner was the "informant" on the death certificate then no wife or any other relative would be named on it.  Just the deceased age and cause of death and where he died or he was found.

If thats the section where the address is supposed to be listed then perhaps we are reading the second word incorrectly.

Instead of Coroner does it make any more sense as an address if it says Cownes ?

It seems odd that all the others are obviously addresses in Liverpool, but this one gives a place as Lpool. Therefore it makes more sense if it says Lpool Coroner. Are there such things as Coroner's records? May he have been named in a newspaper if the death was suspicious or referred to the Coroner? He may have had no known address.
