Marriage lookup: Frawley-Conway, Rathkeale?

Could anyone please help me with a marriage lookup for John Frawley (farmer) of Rathkeale and Margaret Conway - I guess some time between 1900 and 1922?

Does anyone know whether parish registers are available anywhere for the Rathkeale parishes?

Have you checked the Irish 1901 or 1911 to see if he was married at either of those times - it would help narrow down any search

There is a John & Margaret Frawley in Rathkeale 1911 but they are 73 and 70 respectively

They have a 32yr old son John living with them

There is also a John and Margaret Frawley aged 34 and 30 respectively also in Rathkeale - eldest child is 11

There is an entry in the civil marriage index for a Margaret Conway Newcastle district Oct -Dec 1898 vol 5 page 261 and on the same page there is a John Frawley - so it looks like a good possibility. You can get a research cert for 4 euros from GRO Roscommon www. groireland.ie

Many thanks, AnnClare. Looks good. I'll get on to the GRO. I have found them at Blossom Hill, Rathkeale in the 1901 and 1911: John married to Margret/Margaret with son John born in 1901

Do you know whether there are any parish registers available for Rathkeale, pls?

Rathkeale parish records from around 1811 -1879 are available on microfilm in the National Library Dublin for personal research. They are also online at the www.rootsireland.ie site Limerick centre This a pay per view site when you register and buy some credits you will get some free searches of the databases.
Their records cover from 1811 -1899.

The 1911 census says married 12 years so it would be simple enough to work out when they probably got married and find the matching entries in the civil registration index.

All this looks right but still trying to nail down the connection from the UK. I was hoping to do this by identifying Bridget's siblings from the parish registers, but I see they are only available 1811 -1899. I need to come forward before going back further.
