It may be better if you posted this on the Galway board with some names. I have been following your other thread re George Clarke - is this the same family?
Was the Clarke/Holloran marriage in Galway city and is Mary's father's name on the certificate?

hi, yes they are the same family -George Clarke and mary holloran married in galway 26th September 1866, im going over to their place of marriage in 4 weeks to see the church and maybe find some relations they were my great grandparents ,I keep leaving George to one side but im looking for his birth -his 1841 and 1851 census and what happened to him after 1874 (which is the last recording of him on his sons birth certificate) -I  cant seem to move on until I find him,    marys father was named as Michael holloran and was a labourer ,mary was living at "WOOD QUAY"at the time of her marriage .BO

Griffiths Valuation -abt 1850s shows a Michael Halloran in Wood Quay
