All born between 1834 and 1857, in Essex

Would anyone be an ancestor of the WIX/WICKS Family,please?

Im descended from a Thomas Wicks from that period from Norfolk so its possible he could come from Essex. He was born 1832 and I have a lot of details, but I cant find his fathers name.
I did find a Joseph Wicks located in Wiltshire that had a son Thomas - not sure if its the same as your Joseph?

This would be hard to trace however if you had some data about your WICKS family we could be able to sort  them into families.
Hope you find some help in the UK census or Births Deaths and Marriages. I came across wicks farm in Essex when searching BandB's and did wonder about it's heritage .One never knows how places where named

1851 Thomas Wicks who married Jane is a Schoolmaster in the Smallburgh Workhouse. Down as born c 1832 Great Dunham. Living with the King Family.

1841 the Southacre Thomas married to Sarah is with Father WILLIAM and siblings in Southacre under Tom WIX born 1831.

1851 at Colchester Union Workhouse, Essex
1861 at Buckland Union Workhouse, Kent
1871 at Dover Union Workhouse, Kent
1881 still in Dover and down as Married.

He married Jane Anne POOLE 1858.  In which case the baptism you included would be him.
The name change Wix/Wicks could be why I got nowhere.
