Harriet Tyler m William Cole in Halstead 1853. I cannot find them on subsequent census dates unless I am missing something! Postings on ANC  seem to be confusing this couple with William and Hannah Cole? Any help much appreciated.

But they are William and Hannah Cole - aren't they?

What age are you expecting them to be? Not seeing a William and Hannah Cole on 1861 in the immediate area.
Where/when were they born?
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Harriet Tyler was born 1833/4 Great Maplestead I believe. William Cole c1831 Gestingthorpe,Halstead. In 1851 William Cole was cited as being nephew to James and Harriet Tyler living with their children HARRIET,Charles and Walter.

I think she is misrecorded as Hannah on 1861

5 Mill Street Colchester
William Cole 30 carpenter and joiner bn Gestingthorpe
Hannah 27 bn Grt Maplestead
Charles 5 bn Halstead
Emily H 3 bn Braintree
George E 1 bn Colchester

With the places of birth so accurate, and the first child bn Halstead where they married, I am sure this is the right family.

Maybe the marriage has the wrong name then.

Or maybe William didnt like the name Harriett, so after her marriage she changed it to Hannah.

I have the marriage cert and she IS Harriet. Maybe she DID change name? All a bit confusing! On the 1871 census Harriet/Hannah Coles parents have staying with them their 11 year old grandson George Cole!!
