Walmserley Road Bury lancashire

I am researching my family history and have hit a brick wall, it would help if I could find who lived at 381.Walmserley Road Bury in 1946-47, I don't live in Lancashire and i believe the Central Library is being refurbished and at the moment they can't offer any help, although the staff were very helpful when i rang.
