Just found that last Janet on 1841.

Wonder if this is David on the 1841 Census - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTVY-9LK

David Anderson born to James Anderson and Agnes Morrison Kilmarnock Ayrshire 7th March 1834.

Yes that Janet looks interesting.
I've tried to find Mary Anderson on 1851 but no joy.
I wonder if Mary married?
Found 3 marriages in Kilmarnock of a Mary Anderson. One looked interesting Mary Anderson to Alexander Cuthbertson 12th Jan 1845  - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XT2C-H5J

This couple appear to be on the 1851 Census at Kilmarnock (no address on Freecen)
Alex Cuthbertson age 33    Head        Currier       Ayrshire, Kilmarnock
Mary Cuthbertson age 26    Wife                                   ditto
James Allan          age 38   Lodger     Engine Driver    Ayrshire Sorn

There are no children listed. I can't find this couple on 1861 Census. And there is an Alex*** Cuthbertson dies in 1859 at Kilmarnock Ayrshire (no age recorded) - I didn't look at original record.
Could this be that Mary Anderson/Cuthbertson was widowed and left with her sister Janet for Tasmania using maiden name. All supposition...But possible,
Looby :)

Thanks for the work. You people are amazing.
Looby, the name Alexander Cuthbertson seemed familiar so I went and checked the information that I have.  In a family story there is a note that has sister Mary (Mrs Alexander Cuthbertson).  I assumed the marriage was in Australia.  I wondered about the age gap between Mary (33) and Janet (21) on the Broomielaw list.  Thanks for the leads.
