Hi everyone! I am looking for my 2nd great grandpa and his family. Name is Henry Nowlan b. 1830 county Dublin ( according to headstone). He immigrated to the US in about 1848-49, he d. 1871 in Mulberry Grove,Bond Co,Il. I was told by a Uncle that he was a family priest( he would have been mighty young, but I don't know)I would like to know anything about him before coming to America. I would also like to know anything about his parents or siblings. According to my uncle when he told his family he as giving up the priesthood his family disowned him.  Thank you for in help in advance,,,,Laura

Hi Laura,

I had a (very) quick look at the site Irish genealogy ie for Henry Nolan.baptism, time span 1825-1835 and there are a few that are possibles. It's a free site and has other resources that might be helpful.
