I presume this is the right church.
Most of the microfilms for church records have cut off dates, the majority usually 1880 so you were very lucky to get the 1912 marriage and 1912 seems to be the cut off date here.
So i suggest giving them a phone call to see what records are available after this date or a look up possibly for a fee.

Just to let you know....I still couldn't open the link you gave me so I completely uninstalled my Adobe Reader and then re-installed the latest version and Voila!! I can now see the documents. (maybe others having problems could try the same). I can now press on and try to get the information you have been sending me onto some sort of timeline. (that is , in-between all the shopping and the lawns cut and other mundane things!!) :)

Thanks again for your perseverance
Sean

Courtesy of Sinann this morning, you may in the near future be able to get the first birth 1913 see reference to births index on above.

P S . I may be in the G R O in the near future, the birth index books from circa 1903 give the mothers maiden surname so i will look out for the ones mentioned by you they give the date of birth but only appear as childs name with parents (O)Connor/Mullen you have to buy the certs to see the parents full names.

Thanks again

What we have starting to do now.....based on above research....is to make out a rough family tree showing the connections and dates of the O'Connor's, Mullen's, Gilchrist, Bond's, Brady's and Carroll's so that we have something as a basis to keep referring to when/if any new info arrives. We didn't think we would be able to get far on our Irish ancestry because we were told that most records were lost. But we are now really enjoying the possibility of learning more. It is nice to see the possible side of our grandmother as it was her that held the family together when her husband Simon O'Connor was a bit the worse for the drink. We are not going to judge him on that though, as I'm sure that Simon's family side also have a tale to tell.

Thanks
Sean

In #11 in this thread, Tara refers to a prison record which refers to a brother of Simon O'Connor....a James O'Connor. Can someone point me to that record as I can't find any prison record on the IGI site saying that Simon has a brother James.

Thank you
Sean

Hi Sean
dont know if there is a relationship going back in family between these people just seems coincidental but worth noteing in case you uncover something in the future.
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KMQ2-5NQ
This is one of the families at 11 Abbey St
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Dublin/Inns_Quay/Mary_s_Abbey/1280010/
note the stepsons name which leads to

http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/f878410058197
and checking the civil register for this marriage leads to two matches for John Hart ,Anna O'Connor and Anna Doyle which lead me to
http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/bcb10c0011566
Which again lead me to
http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/9cd7430003933
note Anna Doyles parents in comparison to the Hart marriage.

not sure if you are aware of this but usually where it says ''also known as'' on the prison registers means next of kin and not an alias
it would be interesting to find out who Pk Carberry is mentioned in one of his files in 1902
