I am trying to find any information on William Deane whose occupation was listed as a Butler (possibly at Castle Archdale House) 1800's

He was my Great Great Grandfather through on my mothers side and I am curious to know anything about him or his ancestors.

There's a William Deane buried in Lisnarick graveyard (go google maps Lisnarick for location, it's beside Castle Archdale Forest).

Also, see here:

from researching the deaths on that headstone most seemed to have died in Irvinestown with the exception of George who may have died in dublin north.i tried the tithe applotments but he dosent seem to appear there yet on another site someone has put William Deane senior and junior on the tithe applotments 1835 at Derryvullen,Bonaninver. I found the last bit by googling William Deane Irvinestown. The William that died in 1902 may be at  6 Shallany [ milltown fermanagh ] on 1901 census age 58 with wife Frances age 55.

Hi dathai (I think)
Thanks for the information, apologies I am new to this roots chat and am not quite sure how to operate it
The william Deane I am looking for is the father of Thomas Deane who was listed as a gardener residing at Buneninver parish of Castle Archdale
I have the marriage certificate of Thomas Deane and Elizabeth Gilmore of 1883 and William is listed and Thomas's father with the occupation of Butler.
I would attach a copy of the marriage certificate if I knew how to do it.
Many thanks

two points i would like to make, first you say thomas was married from Buneninver the William on the  Tithe Applotments is at Bonaninver obviously the same place ,second have you purchased the death cert for William 1864 born 1800. at family search.org William Deane ,Irevenstown 1864 age 64 vol 7 page 130 the death certificate should give his occupation and the informant usually a relative. Then you will know if you are on the right track. regards Dathai.

Thanks for those points, I was unable to get a birth certificate as he was born before 1837 but it never occurred to get his death certificate, so yes I will have a go at getting that.

Thanks
