Thanks for the links I will have a look. No statutory unfortunately but the Catholic one is proof enough for me i think.

In regards the post about Michael Kennedy,  in my tree i couldn't see any Michaels but whos to say one of the kids didn't have a son called Michael. Will investigate.

Poor records were disappointing unfortunately as only very basic text and im sure he was lying about being single when I have his marriage certificate before that date and the Street address match (but not number). Would have thought he would have better chance of relief mentioning wife and child. I'll be over on the handwriting forum to ask some decipher questions shortly...

I did wonder siouxchief (as we always do  ::)) if you were male or female with the mention of a lovely 10 week old bundle of joy. Respect if you were female, keeping two thoughts together at this time  :D Understandable that you are male  ;)

Bundle of joy he certainly is and yes my wife has the tougher job at the mo :-)
I'm male, 35, Irish living in Hertfordshire 8 years. Newest member of Kennedy clan is here checking out the xmas tree :-)

He is beautiful  :)

I have three. Two boys and a girl. My middle one was born around the same time as your son now. Enjoy....and refrain from buying a Xmas Santa baby outfit...I did, but my family MADE me put one on him  ;D
