Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thank you for that. It may uncover one of my brick walls. But, normally I do not subscribe to Ancestry. May have to change my allegiance!

Try googling IOW Victorian Marriage Registers, brings up 2 pdf files, one groom order, one bride, shows fathers, hope this helps.
