I wondered if you have seen the Roll of Honour on Alan Clarke's web site
listed on my links below post.

It mentions Edward and Herbert.

I have had a look at this website and fleetingly looked over the roll of honour, but will go back for another look.  :)

Just had another look at the roll of honour - In the 1911 Census, Ernest was living with his father in Selly Oak, Birmingham - 12 years old. He would have had to have moved back to Northampton to enlist. I`m not aware that he did, so I need to do some more research to see if I can confirm this.

I`m not aware of a "Herbert" in my tree, but It`s an ongoing project so he may come to light somewhere along the line.
p.s. I did try to upload the photo of Thomas senior for you, but it won`t load for some reason - is there a limit to the no. of uploads I can make?

Hi Jenny.

We have to be careful with information from 1911 census due
to copyright and direct people to the actual links.

As to the photo there is a size limit.

Maybe if you could make them smaller it would help you.

Sorry won`t give any details again on the census!  :-[

I don`t understand about the photo as it had already been resized to post on the other page - checked and it is under 500 so should be ok.....I`ll try again...nope still won`t attach....I`ll try and work it out. ???
