Not sure if anyone can help me, but i am trying to find out any details on a photographer in staffordshire.

The name on the picture is i think C H Deakin.

The picture i am trying to date i think was taken in Madeley Staffordshire or Newcastle Staffordshire.

There was a local Photographer in Madeley but not sure of his name.

I think i am looking at about 1918c or there abouts.

I was wondering if anyone had access to any Trade details to find out at what time frame the Photographer was in Bussiness.

According to this listing on GENUKI he was in a 1912 directory:

Sadly the Historical Directories websites doesn't have much for Staffs after 1900

Thankyou for the info it looks to be the person i was looking for, its says he was from newcastle under lyme.

It says charles Henry Deakin was born 1867 and died 1945 so that covers a number of years he could of been trading

In the 1907 Potteries & District Directory Charles H Deakin is listed as Photographer at 17 Market Place, Newcastle under Lyme.
