census 1891 Bradford
« on: Wednesday 23 April 14 11:05 BST (UK) »
Hi

I wonder if anyone can find out for me who was living at 33 Moody Street and also 61 Moody Street in Bradford in 1891.

There is a connection to a relative at this address but I cannot trace him being there.

Many  thanks

Hi

Thank you for prompt reply my ancestor Thomas Butler states on an army document completed in January 1892 that 33 Moody street was his residence so was hoping that maybe he was there in 1891 for the census.

Thomas was born in Ireland in 1835 so will maybe look at the the other Irish residents to see if there is any connection.

At 61 Moody Street was another soldier who vouched for him but the residents shown don't match  the name on form which looks like Samson 'Trotman ' but maybe its not number 61 number is hard to read.

Thank you for looking for me

Regards
'

Was he living in Bradford, Yorkshire? Or Bradford, Manchester? ::)

Looks like #33 took in boarders?
He might have been a temporary resident?

Hi

It was Bradford Yorkshire I have tried to get some info on Moody Street but nothing much comes up in Yorks but does in Manchester.

If they took in boarders there is probably no connection with Thomas Butler so maybe another brick wall.
