For a long time I have been researching and trying to find out the marriage of my ancestors: Petra Hansen (as the surname Hansen is very common, it was her maiden name and her married name) and Mads Peter Hansen.
Petra was born on the 25 September 1868/69 in Denmark. Mads was born on the 7th April, 1864 also from Denmark. I think they married in Wisconsin between 1890 and May 1893 (Petra immigrated to the USA in 1890 and their first son was born in May 1893).
Up until 1892 Mads worked on the breakwater from Parishville to Washburn in Wisconsin, In 1893 they moved to Adams County.
Any help or assistance provided will be wonderful.
