There may still be some truth to being landowners in Lincolnshire, it just may be further back in the past than you thought. I have found some small truths in great family fables, the exaggerations sounded so much better though! ::)

Joseph Priestley PATCHETT married Louisa Ann KILSBY

2nd marriage was in a R.O. so can not help with that one.

Thankyou I know there were a few of the patchett family lived in Wollaston.  My claim to fame is that one of my Patchett relatives was George Patchett who lived in Wollaston and was a passenger on the Titanic  :)

I have just had a look through the Parish Records for Wollaston and gleaned
the information below. There is a link to Lincs but not to Landed Gentry.

Maybe of help to anyone else researching the family also.
