Charles Colin Sunstrom

Charles Colin Sunstrom & Wife Eliza (also listed as Elizabeth nee Bending) Sailed to Montreal in 1926, returned in 1928.  On the Passenger List the Column was ticked saying they would like to live in Canada permanently.  I cannot find anything for either of them.  I believe Charles Colin was in the UK in 1933 but cannot be certain.  Charles Colin was Born 1878 London, Eliza was Born 1865 in Bristol.  Eliza was his Second Wife.

Can anyone help please?

Not sure how popular that combination of names would be but there is a Charles Sunstrom (patternmaker) and a Mrs Charles Sunstrom on the Canada Voters List 1935 - Oshawa Ontario

Sorry couldn't get back to you before now but we have been away.  Many thanks for the message, would you be able to find out any more information e.g. the name of Mrs. Charles Sunstrom?  Charles Colin Sunstrom was a Mariner/Engineer but he could have worked elsewhere as he would have been 57 years of age, Eliza his Wife would have been 70 as she was 13 years his Senior though she did falsify her age on many occasion.  I have no information on him at all.  Perhaps I could ask someone to check the Passenger List for him after 1933 maybe sailing to Ontario.

Couldn't see them on another passenger list after that 1928 return.  Didn't appear on a border crossing from USA to Canada either. 
City Directory was just one odd entry with no further info - quite annoying when they refer to the wives with the husbands name

There i9s an ancestry tree (may be yours ?) which says he changed  surname to "Stevens", (Stewent on ancestry tree - the name he was registered with at birth - 1 March 1943

A Charles Colin Sunstrom can be found on the '81, 1911 and 1921 with a place of birth consistent with -
Charles Colin Stevens, Jun Qtr 1878, Poplar, 1c, 160 - mother's maiden name not present on GRO.  Also found on the '39 Register.
