Thanks for your interest.

I haven't been able to find out anything more about Maryanne, Catherine's mother, than the fact she appears as her mother on the baptism. I doubt she'd be Anne M, though, as Maryanne would be too old. If you've spotted either Catherine or Maryanne mentioned elsewhere though, do let me know. :)

Will do and I will keep looking. One thing I did notice on that 1871 Census the family listed above them are William Downs Ag Lab (same as William Page) and his wife Emily a Laundress (same as Catherine) and if you check the marriage records you will find Emily was an Osborne too .so lots more coincidences there too........I do love a puzzle  :)
