You're welcome.  Hope it helps.

Unless there's another James True from the same town, there appears to be an article about James in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle from 1917 about him wanting to volunteer to do something for WWI despite being 77 years old.  If you search for "James True" 1917 here - http://newsstand.bklynpubliclibrary.org/ - it should come up.  It has quite a bit about his life and a photo.

Have found the marriage of James True and Marie Boyer (which the online trees don't appear to have) - James' surname has been transcribed as 'Luc' and the top half of the actual entry is very faint but his name is quite clear at the end of the document.   It took place in 1868 at St. Vincent-de-Paul, Montreal.

With a lot of records in French I cannot decipher if there is a fuller date in the document.

Daughter Marie Virginie appears to have been baptised 3/6/1870 Lachine, Quebec and I'm not sure if it says that her godparents were a Pierre Boyer and Marguerite Boileau or if these are actually her mothers parents.
