I've just returned to an ancestor I couldn't find 1st, 2nd or 3rd time round... and still cant find her so hoping some fresh eyes can do the trick.
Dinah Jackson Born c1855 in Driffield, East Yorks. In 1875 she gives birth to an illegitimate son, William Jackson, in Sledmere (Registration District Driffield, sub district Langtoft). Her brother (also William Jackson) notifies the birth.
By 1881 she is living in Thornaby, North Yorkshire (aka South Stockton) with another brother, George William, plus son William, now 6.
In 1887 she gives birth to another apparently illegitimate son, Henry Jackson, who is christened on 16/11/1887 at Auckland-St. Andrew, Durham.
The 1891 & 1901 census show her and the boys living in Willington, Durham but then I completely lose her.
In 1911 her sons are both coal miners, still in Willington, and Henry is living with elder brother William and his wife Ethel.
I have searched census, death, emigration, marriage etc - all the usual suspects - but cant find anything so any help would be really welcome as I'm beginning to think I'm going mad!
