Look if the marriage details you found are correct, and could be, she was a Smith, a widow not Busch at the time, second marriage for both if correct. TBH, if I was in wales in mid 1870's without money would not be toting my name barrel from another country :P

But just trying to help, and just my thoughts

Hi Cas, if this is for me, at the marriage I only showed James as being widowed, if Louisa had been I would have also shown it, and her father would have hopefully been Philip Busch?

That was why until the photo not certain why this lady was the header of this thread?!
