Looking for baptism of Lydia Cabell(Cable) of Farley
« on: Saturday 10 May 14 10:16 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I am looking for the baptism and family of Lydia Cabell, who was from Farley (part of Pitton and Farley).

I know she married George Roberts of Britford on 1 April 1793, and she was stated to be of Britford in the marriage record.

However, there is a bastardy order dated 5 June 1792, which states she is of Farley, and George Rabbits was from Britford, and a female child was born.

Lydia Roberts died in the workhouse, aged 80, in 1848 and is buried at Britford.

So I would expect her baptism to be around 1768.

I would be grateful if anyone could locate her baptism and help me find her parents and other brothers and sisters.

Many thanks!
Madwith
