I remember in the early 60's that there was a home for single Mums along that road but don't know what number it was.

I don't know whether Surrey History centre would look it up for you it might be worth a try.

I am doing some research for a girl who was born at that address in 1955 and who knows her Mum but has not managed to unearth the name of her Father.  She has tried desperately hard for the past twenty years and time is probably running out now.

Sorry I can't suggest anything else, I was only aware of it as I lived nearby.  I would ask Surrey H.C. what they know about the property, they are based in Woking.

In the 1911 census, none of the houses seem to have numbers but there is a home for single mothers on the road.  See this transcription:
