I am trying to trace the family of Maurice Roche from Cork. He married Honor Madden, a Belfast lady but I have no clues to finding his origins, though I am told he was a sea man. He may have been born c. 1918-25

You will need to provide further information if you have it - Marriage Cert for Maurice & Honor this would show their fathers names. Where did this couple reside? :)

I have just discovered that Maurice was born either 1915 or 1918.

There is a birth registered for a Honor Madden Reg district Belfast Jan qtr 1919 Vol 1 P 261
www.groireland.ie for a photocopy cost is €4 :)
