Hi,
I am trying to find if my gg grandfather William Douglas and his wife Agnes Nimmo had a child during their 6 year marriage.  They married in Glasgow 1920 and William died in 1927. Because of the years they all come up 'no image' order only.......if I went to the records office would I be able to view them all?  I live in Cambridgeshire so wouldn't want to visit and not be able to!!  :)

What was his address when he married and died?

He was married at 221 Caledonia Road and he died at 67 Waterloo Street.

Does it say Waterloo Street, Anderston, Glasgow

it says 67 Waterloo Street, East Glasgow, District of Camlachie.....and sorry he died 1926 not 1927!!!

William Douglas mother was Helen Scott
and Agnes mother was Christina? Green

Nothing promising showing on the birth index for Camlachie but there is a possible for Calton which is near Camlachie

1927 DOUGLAS ELIZABETH GREEN Female at CALTON (GLASGOW) GLASGOW CITY/LANARK 644/03 0538

You could request a Rootschatter to check it for you on a visit to The Genealogy Centre
