Henry Cordial ( CARDIAL )
« on: Monday 09 December 13 16:48 GMT (UK) »
I have located a death for Henry Cardial in Galway in 1875. It is on page 223 Vol 4 FHL film No 101587.
Does anyone know what information I am likely to get on the death certificate for this year if I order it from Galway. Would it have his place of birth, person who reported death?
It says CARDIAL but he was a Cordial so I guess his name was written down incorrectly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Arnold ( Lancs ). Gordon ( Lancs, Scotland ). Dowling. ( Ireland, England, Massachusetts, Australia, Buenos Aires ) Pugh ( Pew) ( Cheshire & Lancs). Cordial ( Ireland )

It may be that the name on the registration has been mis-transcribed but it's not uncommon to find such variations in spellings. The death certificate will not give his birthdate or birthplace. See here for details included on certificates with links on ordering research copy from Roscommon (the cheapest option) and what details to include, and not to include-
