Can anyone help please?I have Isabella Jane Brady married in Lisburn,Down 1868 to William Boyland,from Stockland Devon England.In the 1881 census for Wales it shows the family ie Wililam.Isabella and children Samuel.James,Annie M. and William all born in Ireland between 1868 and 1874.from then on NOTHING. Could they have returned to Ireland or moved on to somewhere new?
Anything on this family appreciated.Thank you.

Hi,
   I can find the marriage of your couple in Lisburn Cathedral on 15 Sept 1865. A parent search on the family serach site gives three children:-
Female child born 29 Jun 1866 Hillsborough Co. Down
William  Born 12 Nov 1874 Ireland
John       born 5 Sept 1879 Blaris Co. Down.

Thank you for quick replies. Is there any way to discover when the family moved from Ireland and ended up in Wales?? Cannot fin any info on where thet all vanished to.Possibly off to the USA or ???

Hi,
   There is no record of people moving within the United Kingdom i.e. between Ireland and the mainland. Irish marriage certificates can be obtained from the Gro Ireland but they contain very little information. The most important is the fathers' names which in your case were Samuel Boyland and James Brady.

You can view the marriage cert on-line, on  the GRONI site. It should cost £2 to view.
