Mary Ogle born 1853 married to Thomas lived Newcastle went into workhouse dont know why or when.  two children went to homes. husband blind stayed at home. she died 1896ish.  Need to knwo why Mary went into the workhouse???? :'( :'( :'(

I don't know how to find out why she went into the workhouse, but just wondered whether you had seen this thread?

There was a possible death for her in 1896. Perhaps her death cert would tell whether she was still there or whether she was back home?
You might have to contact local archives to try and find workhouse records...
