Same Person ?

Can anyone confirm for me if the following facts are indeed all the same person:

Thomas Langmaid born 11 July 1691, Lansallos, Cornwall
Thomas Langmaid Marries Joan Collings 25 June 1715 at Lansallos
Thomas Langmaid buried 1717 at Lansallos.

Shame only two years after marriage if they are all him of course, also would anyone be able to tell me of who his parents may have been and Joans date of death.

Hi Graham

Have you looked at the Parish register? According to the OPC database the event of 11 July 1691 was a burial not a baptism. The Baptism database does not have a baptism for a Thomas Langmaid or Longmaid in 1691.

You can check it out here and contact the On line Parish Clerk for Lansallos to check if the database is in error. Unfortunately there are no images on the Family Search site for Lansallos in the 1700s.

At this early date I would also check for a Will or Administration to further identify a death as the PRs and BTs can be quite economical with their information.
