The 1942 one probate was granted to Constance Florence Prout spinster.

1960 Cardiff one was a widow.

1964 Wakefield one- a spinster Probate granted to Dora Prout a widow.

Any of them sound like yours?
Will type them out fully if so.

Thanks Carol , that was a clever idea , sadly none of them work out to be my Ellen . Back to the drawing board with her . I think William Henry should be ok , he died Dec 1952 Exeter  and definately Elizabeth Adelaide Prout , I have her marriage and death , she was Ellen sister in law .

14th March was a Saturday as I was born on the Sunday before that
