Apparently James and Susannah owned the above named property around 1760. I assume that that is the property shown on
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=257500&y=619500&z=120&sv=cumnock&st=3&tl=Map+of+Cumnock,+East+Ayrshire+[City/Town/Village]&searchp=ids.srf&mapp=map.srf

(I don't seem to be able to past the whole link in clickable form but it can be cut and pasted)

on Glaisnock Rd and just off the A76.
It looks as if part of the property might be currently for sale... the stables.

Does anyone know anything about this property. How big it was.... is the 18th Century house still there or has it been replaced. Contact details for the current owner maybe? in private email please.
Any information would be appreciated.

Glaisnock House operated as a school (for farmers' children) until about 1973.

Just realised your dates don't match the date that the current house was built but if you download The History of Old Cumnock from https://archive.org/details/historyofoldcumn00warr you might get a bit more information on Old Glaisnock House and estate.
