If you are interested in the family and friends of the medieval Newburgh family, I invite you to visit
www.worldwidenewburghproject.com

In 1471 John Newburgh Jr. was able to secure the premises of Lullingstone Castle in Kent for his Dorset family via decree by Edward IV.  Later in the 16th century his kinsman, descendant of Roger Newburgh, sold the castle.  I am interested in knowing more about this line who may have resided in Kent.

We are attempting to establish a YDNA surname project for the Newburgh and Westbury families of Dorset/Wiltshire.  To participate an individual needs to be male, with verifiable ties back to the 15th century Newburgh family of Dorset.

The Newburgh project is brand new at this time.  If you are interested in receiving updates, use the contact form on the website to communicate.
