John William Davies, Tailor
« on: Sunday 10 August 14 19:32 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a John William Davies, the only information I have is from his son's (my great grandfather) marriage certificate. His son was called Llewellyn Davies born circa 1880 in Denbighshire, he later moved to Seaforth in Liverpool and his profession is listed as a hairdresser.  On his 1901 marriage certificate, John William Davies was listed as a Tailor and as Llewelyn was born in Denbigshire, I can only assume he was resident or from this part of the world.  I have checked the Census information for North Wales, for all John W. and John Davies, and none are listed as a Tailor.  Can anyone help me please?

It's definitely John William Davies, and from information gleamed from Llewellyn's 1911 Census record he was residence in Wrexham in 1880. See the name in the attachment.
