If you look at the index cards, one other Abraham is mentioned married to Cleaver, forget exactly right now, that one you can look at and sort as he is deceased on the card and the other Abraham you have followed is still a live; Locksmith if I remember right.
He's not the one from Countesthorpe or Ashby later as there are all there 1861

Have you pinpointed Thomas and Sarah marrying?

Wondering if this is his brother

St Margaret Baptisms

WRIGHT   SELINA   THOMAS & SARAH   1841   14-Apr
WRIGHT   ANNE    THOMAS & SARAH   1857 26-Apr
WRIGHT   MARY           THOMAS & SARAH   1857   26-Apr
WRIGHT   SARAH   THOMAS & SARAH   1857   26-Apr

Have had a look in Notts and there is a Thomas and Sarah Morley marrying Dec 5 1843 Mansfield Woodhouse St Edmund King and Martyr

But
Just to note, found a Sarah Joinis, mother father Thomas Wright, son James baptised 15 Apr 1845 Nottingham St Barnabas RC though, but there is a James 1851 census??

John's baptism is straight forward, crossing her fingers as she types!

Thomas Wright married Sarah Jones Q3 1839 Radford 15/751

Thanks again for all your help.

Firstly, where do I find the index cards?

I have now got a copy of my Great grandmother's marriage certificate, which has Abraham Wright down as her father, as well as being witnessed by Christiana (her sister) and Harry Harding (who I know married another of her sisters as my vaguely remembers him) .... so I am confident that I have the correct Abraham when I view census records with him, Hilda and Christiana in.

I have today ordered Hilda's birth certificate, so once and for all I will know which Louisa is her mother (one of the three surnames I've already come across will be on it, hopefully!)

I haven't managed to pinpoint Thomas and Sarah marrying yet ... doesn't help that they have common names!  When I do the FreeBMD search, I can get a list of possible names and dates, but as far as I know, there is no way of seeing more information about each one other than ordering copies of the certificates, is there?

I accidently did a search for an electoral register rather than census and found a Christiana Wright, living at the same address as an Edith Wright, George Wright and Victor Wright - in Birmingham in 1955.  I know there were siblings called Edith and George Victor (one person).  Bit odd if they all ended up unmarried and living together!

That doesn't seem that odd to me - it would seem odder if by conincidence they had the same names and were unrelated!
